DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:
The following points were discussed.
- *Remedial Classes*
– A separate register must be maintained for remedial classes, clearly mentioning the topics covered.
– A separate register must be maintained for slow learners.
- *Formation of Units*
– Every college must form *NSS* and *Scouts and Guides* units.
- *Staff Record Maintenance*
– Staff members are required to maintain the following up-to-date:
– *Work Done Diary*
– *Assignment Books*
– *Attendance Register*
– *Marks Register*
- *Use of Teaching Aids*
– Staff should incorporate teaching aids like *PPTs, **videos*, etc., during lectures.
- *Retention of Answer Scripts*
– Every college must retain the answer scripts of every test and examination for reference.
- *Examination Changes*
– The duration of examinations has been reduced by 15 minutes.
– *2 hours and 45 minutes* for writing the exam.
– *15 minutes* to read the question paper.
- *Workshop on Model Paper*
– Conduct a *one-day workshop* to discuss the exam model paper.
- *WhatsApp and Zoom*
– Staff should keep checking *WhatsApp messages* and attend *Zoom meetings* as needed.
- *Guidelines Compliance*
– Every college must strictly follow the guidelines issued by the department.
- *Admission and Fee Records*
– Separate *Admission Registers* and *Fee Receipt Books* must be updated and maintained for both *I PUC* and *II PUC*.
- *Staff Movement Register*
– A *Staff Movement Register* must be maintained to track the movement of staff during working hours.
- *National Festivals*
– All *National Festivals* should be celebrated, and proof of the celebrations should be documented.
- *Teacher Relief for PUC Activities*
– Colleges should relieve teachers to participate in *PUC department activities*.
- Lab and Sports Stock Verification
Lab and sports-related stock verification must be conducted every year on *31st March*.
