Kargil Vijay Diwas celebration ceremony was held on 26th July 2024 in NHPUC at 3 pm . The event started with an introduction to the relevance of the day followed by a speech by Mr. Manjegowda, Head of the department of Kannada. Prizes were distributed  to the winners of  Essay writing competition and Power Point Presentation on Kargil Vijay Diwas held for the Ist and II PU students. The lighting of Diya was done by the principal of New Horizon College, Dr. Basavaraj Biradar ,alongside all the teachers. The students too joined in this act of offering respect to our brave warriors who sacrificed their lives towards the protection of our nation during Kargil war.

The program ended with the  national anthem.
